St. Patrick's Catholic Church Religious Education Program
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel all Religious Education classes for the duration of the semester (March 18th-May 6th). We are saddened by this but know it is best for our world and our community.
With the circumstances in place, I have compiled a list of resources for you to use as a family to continue to grow in your faith and enter into prayer regularly as a family.
For Sacramental students, there is an intensified packet attached below that you can print and work through during this time to continue preparing yourself for the Sacraments whenever you are able to receive them.
The Invitation -
Prayer is as essential to our soul’s survival as water is for our body’s survival. I encourage you to make prayer a regular part of your day, individually and as a family.
Here are a few ideas:
1. Pray the rosary as a family whether it be in your home or on a rosary walk.
2. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet as a family.
3. Pray with Sacred Scripture, such as reading the daily mass readings together.
4. Stream in and watch daily Holy Mass & Sunday Holy Mass virtually as a family. Mass is recorded live and posted on the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church North Platte daily & on Sunday.
A variety of awesome videos, books & talks for adults and kids can be found through Formed, a Catholic resource website. The access link is listed below. You simply access the link and make your own account. All the resources are free to you!
